Our Services

Precision firestopping and passive fire protection services engineered to meet the strictest fire codes and life safety standards in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Firestopping Contracting

  • Penetration FirestoppingSealing Through-Penetrations in Fire-Rated Assemblies

Penetration firestopping seals the openings created by pipes, cables, conduits, and HVAC ducts as they pass through fire-rated walls and floors. These penetrations represent critical vulnerabilities in a building's passive fire barrier; left unprotected, they allow fire and toxic smoke to spread rapidly between compartments.

Our engineers assess each penetration type, select UL-listed or FM-approved firestop systems appropriate for the specific assembly, and install them with rigorous quality documentation to satisfy building inspectors, fire marshals, and code authorities.

  • All pipe, cable, conduit & duct types
  • UL-listed system selection per assembly
  • Full documentation & inspection support
  • Compliance with UAE fire codes
  • Perimeter FirestoppingCurtain Wall & Floor Slab Perimeter Sealing

Perimeter firestopping addresses the linear gap between the outer edge of a concrete floor slab and the exterior curtain wall or cladding system. This gap, left unsealed, acts as a direct pathway for fire and smoke to travel floor-to-floor in high-rise and commercial structures.

We deploy engineered perimeter firestop systems — including mineral wool safing insulation and intumescent coatings — to seal these voids to the rated integrity of the surrounding fire-rated assembly, ensuring vertical fire containment across all floor levels.

  • High-rise & commercial curtain walls
  • Mineral wool safing insulation systems
  • Intumescent coating application
  • Floor-to-floor fire compartmentation
  • Joint FirestoppingConstruction & Head-of-Wall Joint Systems

Construction joints — including head-of-wall joints, floor-to-floor joints, and seismic joints — are inherent in every modern structure. Without firestopping, these linear openings defeat the fire rating of the surrounding wall and floor assemblies, allowing fire and smoke to migrate unchecked.

Kings Safety Equipment System installs code-compliant joint firestop systems across all joint types, using products engineered to accommodate movement and thermal expansion while maintaining their fire-rated performance. Every installation is backed by tested, listed system documentation.

  • Head-of-wall joint systems
  • Seismic & expansion joints
  • Floor-to-floor joint sealing
  • Rated to match adjacent assembly fire ratings

Passive Fire Protection (PFP)

Barrier Management

  • PFP Firestopping Barrier ManagementSystematic Approach to Fire Barrier Integrity

Passive Fire Protection (PFP) Barrier Management goes beyond individual firestop installations to encompass the surveying, documentation, and ongoing management of all fire barriers within a structure. This systematic approach ensures that no penetration or joint is overlooked, and that all installed barriers maintain their rated performance throughout the building's lifecycle.

We support general contractors, building owners, and facilities managers with comprehensive barrier management programs that satisfy authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing life safety compliance.

  • Full barrier survey & documentation
  • Gap analysis against fire codes
  • Ongoing barrier integrity management
  • AHJ compliance reporting
  • SFRM & IFRM FireproofingStructural Steel Fire Protection

Spray-Applied Fire Resistive Materials (SFRM) and Intumescent Fire Resistive Materials (IFRM) protect structural steel members from the catastrophic loss of load-bearing capacity that occurs at elevated temperatures during a fire event. Unprotected steel loses up to 60% of its strength at temperatures commonly reached in building fires.

SFRM is applied as a wet spray to structural members, providing a cementitious or mineral-fiber protective layer. IFRM coatings remain thin and architecturally acceptable under normal conditions but expand dramatically when exposed to heat, forming an insulating char that shields the steel. We deliver both systems with certified thickness verification and third-party inspection support.
